About Saint Florian Ministries
Saint Florian Ministries—AKA The Prayer Society of Saint Florian—is primarily an outreach of prayer support to firefighters and other first responders as well as their families. The Prayer Society is an ecumenical intentional prayer community with members scattered across the continental United States and beyond. Members of the Prayer Society offer daily prayer for the safety and other needs of the members of the fire service and other first responders as well as for their families.
Some monitor fire calls on scanners and pray for those responding.
Others offer a special remembrance in their Morning or Evening Prayers.
Others "say the rosary" or the "Chaplet of Saint Florian."
And, still others offer their daily Communion.

All of us covenant to stop what we are doing and pray whenever we hear the sirens of responding fire apparatus and/or emergency vehicles.
The Prayer Society also maintains the Line of Duty Death [LODD] Memorial pages [currently unpublished]. There we remember First Responders who made the ultimate sacrifice and died in the Line of Duty.
